A nostalgic homemade Cookies and Cream Ice Cream with creamy vanilla ice cream and crunchy chocolate sandwich cookies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Add in the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies about five minutes before it’s done churning.
  4. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Gently fold in the cookies to preserve their crunch. Chill the mixture before churning for a creamier texture.
