A creamy and flavorful risotto that’s perfect for any occasion, with the richness of Parmesan cheese and the aromatic notes of sautéed onions.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Arborio rice
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the broth in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in a skillet with butter until softened.
  3. Toast Arborio rice for 1-2 minutes until slightly translucent.
  4. Add white wine and let it absorb into the rice.
  5. Gradually stir in the broth, one ladle at a time, waiting for absorption.
  6. Achieve a creamy consistency and stir in remaining butter and Parmesan.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish and serve hot with fresh parsley.

Notes
