A comforting recipe for classic meatballs, perfect for sharing over family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
  5. Heat marinara sauce in a large skillet over medium heat and allow to simmer gently.
  6. Combine meatballs and sauce; let them simmer together for about 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with pasta, a sub sandwich, or fresh greens.

Notes

For added flavor, mix in herbs or pantry staples. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
