A delightful classic club sandwich stacked with layers of turkey, bacon, and fresh vegetables, perfect for any picnic or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread (white or whole grain)
  • 2 slices of cooked turkey or chicken
  • 2 slices of bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread until they are golden and crispy.
  2. Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on one side of the first slice of toasted bread.
  3. Add a layer of crisp lettuce leaves, followed by the turkey or chicken slices and tomato slices.
  4. Place the second slice of bread on top—mayonnaise side down.
  5. Add the crispy bacon slices on top of the second layer, along with more lettuce and tomato if desired.
  6. Top it all off with the third slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Use toothpicks to secure the sandwich in place, then cut it into quarters.
  8. Serve with sides like chips or pickles.

Notes

For extra flavor, try swapping in different types of bread or adding avocado.
