Delicious, fluffy cinnamon rolls topped with a rich cream cheese glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine warm milk and yeast in a large bowl. Let sit for about 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Mix in melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter and sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar on top.
  6. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into 12 slices.
  7. Let the rolls rise in a greased baking dish for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth for the glaze.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over warm cinnamon rolls and serve.

Notes

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
