A delightful and easy twist on traditional cinnamon rolls, baked into a custardy casserole perfect for breakfast gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease the baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters and spread in the greased baking dish.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until combined.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  6. Drizzle maple syrup over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly and drizzle with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For added texture, consider adding cream cheese or nuts. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
