A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and crunchy churros in bar form, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (1 lb) package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for topping)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and egg in a bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Spread the refrigerated sugar cookie dough evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Press down gently.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cookie layer, smoothing it out gently.
  5. Mix together 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon in another bowl. Sprinkle over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars can be made a day in advance and store well in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
