Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), creating a warm environment for your Churro Cheesecake Bars.
  2. Mix together 1/2 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon for the topping.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add the sugar, egg, and vanilla; blend until creamy.
  4. Spray a 9×13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Roll out one can of dough and press it into the bottom of the pan over the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the dough.
  7. Roll out the second can of dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top and prepare to bake.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm or cold; pair with vanilla ice cream or coffee for an extra treat.
