A decadent chocolate poke cake infused with sweetened condensed milk and topped with whipped cream, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake according to package directions, about 30-35 minutes.
  5. Cool the cake for 15 minutes and poke holes all over the surface with a fork.
  6. Mix the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup together and pour over the cake.
  7. Spread the whipped topping over the cooled cake.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings or sprinkles, if desired.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
