Delicious chocolate cookies with gooey marshmallow centers—a perfect treat for cold days.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until well incorporated.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set.
  9. Press mini marshmallows onto each cookie.
  10. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes until marshmallows are soft.
  11. Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months.
