An indulgent layered dessert perfect for family gatherings, featuring a nut crust, cream cheese layer, chocolate pudding, and Cool Whip.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup butter (melted)
  • ½ cup pecans (chopped)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip (1 large tub)
  • 2 boxes chocolate instant pudding (small box, 3.9oz)
  • 3 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Nut Crust: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, melted butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly. Press into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Whip Up the Cream Cheese Layer: Blend cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread evenly over the nut crust.
  3. Create the Chocolate Pudding Layer: Whisk the chocolate pudding mix with 3 cups of milk for about 2 minutes until thick. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top it Off with Whipped Topping: Spread Cool Whip over the pudding layer. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour.

Notes

Serve chilled, garnished with chocolate shavings or fresh berries. Can be prepared a day in advance.
