A delightful combination of creamy cheesecake and chocolate chip cookie dough, perfect for gatherings or cozy evenings at home.

  • 40 oz Refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Chill the cookie dough in the freezer for a few hours.
  3. Soften the cream cheese at room temperature.
  4. Prepare the egg by letting it sit until it reaches room temperature.
  5. Line a 13×9″ pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil.
  6. Create the cookie dough base by slicing half of the dough and pressing it into the bottom of the lined pan.
  7. Bake the crust for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  8. Mix the cheesecake filling by beating the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  9. Spread the cheesecake batter evenly over the crust.
  10. Add the remaining cookie dough as a topping.
  11. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until the cheesecake is set and the topping is golden brown.
  12. Cool the bars at room temperature before chilling them in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
