A sweet and creamy dessert pie that’s simple to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sugar, cornmeal, and flour in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk, whisking until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture into your unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set and slightly golden.
  6. Cool at room temperature before serving.

Notes

For a crisper crust, blind-bake the pie crust for 5-10 minutes before adding the filling. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
