A comforting casserole featuring layers of savory ground beef, creamy mushroom soup, crispy tater tots, and melted cheese. Perfect for chilly evenings and family gatherings!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 bag tater tots (approximately 32 oz)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the onion is softened and the beef is no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  3. Mix the browned beef, onion, cream of mushroom soup, and milk in a large bowl until well combined.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture in a single layer.
  6. Add shredded cheese over the tater tots.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the tater tots are golden and the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or microwave when ready to eat.
