A delightful gluten-free pizza made with a crispy cauliflower crust, perfect for customizing with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cheese (mozzarella or parmesan)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., sauce, vegetables, meats)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Chop the cauliflower into florets and pulse in a food processor until it reaches a rice-like texture.
  3. Steam or microwave the processed cauliflower until soft, then let it cool for a few minutes.
  4. Squeeze out excess moisture using a cheesecloth or clean towel.
  5. Mix the cauliflower, egg, cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a crust.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden.
  8. Add your desired toppings and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For added nutrition, blend in some finely chopped spinach or herbs into your crust mixture. Leftover pizza can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
