Indulgent Rice Krispie treats with a twist of gooey caramel, crunchy pecans, and luscious chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups Rice Krispies
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the Rice Krispies until well coated.
  4. Press half of the mixture into a greased pan to create an even base.
  5. Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the pressed Rice Krispie base.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped pecans and chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
  7. Press the remaining Rice Krispie mixture on top and compact nicely.
  8. Chill until set in the refrigerator.
  9. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For best texture, use fresh marshmallows. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
