  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk the brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until shiny.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
  6. Layer half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Drizzle with half of the caramel sauce.
  8. Add the remaining batter over the caramel layer.
  9. Swirl the remaining caramel into the top layer of batter.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  11. Cool before cutting into squares.
