Rich, fudgy brownies drizzled with warm caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter and mix in the sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold into the egg mixture.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
  7. Spread the remaining batter on top and drizzle with the rest of the caramel sauce.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or coffee. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
