A delightful dessert that combines a rich brownie base with a creamy cheesecake layer, topped with luscious caramel sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish
  • Whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the brownie mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until glossy & well combined, then spread in the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, vanilla, and remaining 2 eggs. Mix until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the sour cream into the cream cheese mixture and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer in the springform pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set. Let it cool at room temperature.
  7. After cooling, drizzle on caramel sauce.
  8. Garnish with chocolate shavings and serve with whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
