Delicious, bite-sized pockets of golden pastry bursting with tender apples and rich, gooey caramel, all rolled in a dusting of cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Cream together the wet ingredients with the dry mixture.
  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Fill each dough circle with diced apple and caramel sauce.
  6. Seal the dough by folding and pinching the edges.
  7. Dust each bomb with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
