Delicious homemade treats filled with warm diced apples, caramel, and cinnamon, wrapped in a flaky crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2 cups of diced apples
  • 1/2 cup of caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Flour (for dusting)
  • Whipped cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Combine the diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, and caramel sauce in a mixing bowl.
  4. Cut the pie crusts into small circles using a round cookie cutter or glass.
  5. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold the crust over the filling, sealing the edges tightly.
  7. Whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the bombs.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.
  10. Serve warm with whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
