Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Beat the sugar and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  7. Fold in the diced apples, cinnamon, and half of the caramel sauce.
  8. Pour the cheesecake apple mixture over the crust.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set.
  10. Allow the bars to cool down to room temperature.
  11. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

These bars can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
