Delicious Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars combining creamy cheesecake, tart apples, and luscious caramel for a perfect autumn treat.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Create the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then pressing into the baking dish.
  3. Make the cheesecake filling by beating sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add sour cream, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  7. Cool completely then cut into squares and serve with additional caramel if desired.

Notes

Ensure the cream cheese is softened for a lump-free mixture. These bars can be frozen for up to 3 months.
