Deliciously creamy cheesecake bars with a buttery crust, sweet caramel, and spiced apples.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Beat together the softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla and eggs, mixing until combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples gently into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust, then drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a touch of spice, consider adding a teaspoon of cinnamon or nutmeg to the mixture.
