A delicious blend of tender shrimp and creamy pasta infused with Cajun spices and vibrant bell peppers.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the shrimp and Cajun seasoning until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Sauté sliced bell peppers and garlic in the same skillet until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp to the skillet, tossing everything together.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt and low-fat milk. Pairs well with garlic bread or a green salad.
