A delightful mix of bold flavors and comforting creaminess, this Cajun Shrimp Pasta features succulent shrimp, Cajun seasoning, and a velvety sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Sauté the bell pepper, onion, and garlic in the same skillet until softened.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  7. Mix in cooked pasta and shrimp.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For added spice, include diced jalapeños with the vegetables. If using frozen shrimp, ensure they are thoroughly thawed before cooking.
