A one-pan Cajun Shrimp Pasta that combines creamy sauce with succulent shrimp and vibrant bell peppers for a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning; cook until shrimp are pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  5. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the same skillet; sauté until soft.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; cook until thickened.
  7. Return the shrimp to the skillet and mix well.
  8. Combine the cooked fettuccine and season with salt and pepper.
  9. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, use half-and-half or a dairy-free heavy alternative. Adjust the spice level according to your taste.
