A delightful blend of brownies and cookies, these Brownie Cookies are fudgy, chewy, and packed with chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still fudgy. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For thicker cookies, refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes before baking.
