A delightful bread pudding that transforms stale bread into a warm, sweet treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups bread, cubed
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a large bowl until well blended.
  3. Soak the cubed bread in the milk mixture until fully absorbed.
  4. Add the raisins if using, and gently mix.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and drizzle melted butter on top.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with caramel sauce or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
