A delightful and airy dessert featuring crisp meringue, luscious cream, and fresh mixed berries.

Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Beat the egg whites until they start to form soft peaks.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar while continuing to beat the egg whites.
  4. Fold in the vanilla extract, vinegar, and cornstarch.
  5. Shape the meringue mixture onto the baking sheet into a circle with a well in the center.
  6. Bake for 1 hour and let it cool completely in the oven.
  7. Whip the heavy cream until it reaches soft peaks.
  8. Top the pavlova with whipped cream and scatter mixed berries on top.
