Delicious and comforting savory beef meat pies with a flaky crust, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef and onions until browned. Add garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and beef broth; simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare the pie crusts by rolling them out and cutting into circles.
  4. Assemble the pies with beef filling in the center, fold and seal edges with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months. When reheating, adjust time accordingly.
