Juicy, tender chicken enveloped in a symphony of sweet and smoky BBQ sauce, perfect for sandwiches or tacos.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing your 2 lb of boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Make sure they’re at the bottom for even cooking.
  2. In a sizzling pan, heat up a little oil and toss in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the sautéed onion and garlic to the slow cooker with the chicken. Sprinkle the chicken with paprika, black pepper, and salt for a flavor boost.
  4. Next, pour in the 1 cup of BBQ sauce and 1/2 cup of chicken broth over the chicken.
  5. Set your slow cooker to low, cover, and let it work its magic for 4 hours.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked through, use two forks to shred the meat directly in the slow cooker.
