A simple and flavorful BBQ pulled chicken recipe perfect for weeknights or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Combine the chicken breasts, barbecue sauce, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
  3. Shred the chicken using two forks.
  4. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
  5. Serve the pulled chicken on burger buns or your choice of bread.

Notes

Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 4 days or frozen for up to 3 months. Adjust seasoning to preference.
