Crunchy tostada shells layered with tender BBQ chicken, fresh veggies, and creamy toppings, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Avocado slices (optional)
  • Cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix the shredded chicken with the BBQ sauce until well coated.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Place tostada shells on a baking sheet.
  4. Divide the BBQ chicken mixture evenly among the tostada shells.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese.
  7. Serve with sour cream, avocado slices, and garnish with cilantro if desired.

Notes

For extra crunch, bake the tostada shells longer. You can also use store-bought rotisserie chicken for a shortcut.
