A delightful cake that combines layers of flavor inspired by the classic banana split dessert.

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or peanuts)
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Combine the cake mix, softened butter, milk, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely and then slice it in half horizontally.
  5. Layer sliced bananas on the bottom layer, drizzle with sweetened condensed milk, and add whipped cream.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts, drizzle chocolate syrup, and decorate with strawberries and pineapple chunks.
  7. Reassemble the cake by placing the top layer back on and adding more whipped cream and toppings.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for best flavor. Can substitute ingredients as needed.
