  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add melted butter and mix until combined.
  3. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool before slicing into squares.
