Delicious Baked Cinnamon Twists with a crispy exterior and gooey sweet cinnamon sugar filling, perfect for brunch or a cozy snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: icing for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Brush each triangle with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top.
  5. Twist each triangle from the base to the tip and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush lightly with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with icing if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven for a few minutes.
