Delightful baked churro bites that are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 120 ml lukewarm water
  • 57 g unsalted butter
  • 1.5 g salt
  • 60 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 2 g ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine lukewarm water, unsalted butter, and salt in a medium saucepan and bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  3. Add the flour all at once and stir vigorously until the dough forms a smooth consistency.
  4. Cool the dough for a few minutes until safe to handle.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each until fully incorporated.
  6. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe small bite-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Whisk together granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  9. Toss the warm churro bites in the cinnamon sugar coating.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweet indulgence, serve with chocolate sauce or warm caramel. Leftovers can be stored for up to 2 days at room temperature.
