  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups diced apples
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Create the graham cracker crust by combining graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Prepare the apple layer by tossing diced apples with lemon juice and cinnamon.
  4. Make the cheesecake batter by beating cream cheese, adding sugar and vanilla, then incorporating eggs and sour cream.
  5. Combine the layers by pouring cheesecake batter over the apple mixture in the springform pan.
  6. Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is slightly wobbly.
  7. Cool and chill the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.
