A quick and easy mug cake featuring the comforting flavors of apple and cinnamon, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced apple, flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a microwave-safe mug. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Microwave the mug on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until the cake has risen and is set in the middle.
  4. Let the mug cake cool for a minute before enjoying. Optionally top with ice cream or caramel sauce.
