  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 cups cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the potatoes by peeling and slicing them thinly.
  3. Create layers of potatoes in a baking dish, adding salt and pepper between layers.
  4. Add melted butter mixed with cream over the layered potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle cheese generously on top.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the top is golden and bubbly.

Notes

For perfect potato slices, use a mandoline slicer. Mix different cheeses for enhanced flavor.
