Crispy and delicious Air Fryer Chicken Tenders that are healthier and quicker to make than traditional fried chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in one bowl; place flour in another bowl; and beat the egg until frothy in a third bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, dip in egg, and roll in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange chicken tenders in a single layer.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, and remove once golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken tenders in buttermilk for a couple of hours before coating. If you run out of breadcrumbs, crushed cornflakes can be a great substitute.
