Delightful cookies combining sweet white chocolate and tart cherries for a memorable treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips, chopped cherries, and softened cream cheese.
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  9. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to a week. They freeze beautifully for up to 2 months.
