A rich and creamy Oreo Buttercream Frosting perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Oreo cookie crumbs

Instructions

  1. Creaming the butter until fluffy and pale.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until combined.
  3. Add in the heavy cream and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in the Oreo cookie crumbs.
  5. Adjust the consistency with more cream or powdered sugar if needed.
  6. Use immediately to frost a cake or store in the refrigerator.

Notes

Store any leftover frosting in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Bring to room temperature before use.
