A rich and indulgent twist on classic banana bread, combining sweet bananas and cocoa for a moist and delightful treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Mix in the cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips if desired.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
