A rich and smooth buttercream frosting infused with Kahlua liqueur, perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Kahlua liqueur
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate flavor)

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter in a large bowl until creamy.
  2. Incorporate the powdered sugar gradually, mixing on low speed.
  3. Mix in the Kahlua, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the cocoa powder (if using) and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Ready to use or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

Make sure your butter is at room temperature for the best texture. If the frosting is too thin, gradually add more powdered sugar.
