A creamy and sweet honey buttercream frosting that brings joy to your cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 24 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter in a large bowl until creamy.
  2. Incorporate the honey and mix until well combined.
  3. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
  4. Achieve the perfect consistency by adding heavy cream or milk one tablespoon at a time.
  5. Infuse with vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Whip the frosting on high speed until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Frost your cakes and cupcakes with the delightful honey buttercream.

Notes

For a lighter frosting, add an extra tablespoon of cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
