A light and airy raspberry mousse that captures the essence of love and celebration, perfect for special occasions.

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Gelatin: In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it sit for 5 minutes until softened.
  2. Cook the Raspberries: In a saucepan, combine raspberries and sugar over medium heat; cook until raspberries break down and become syrupy.
  3. Dissolve the Gelatin: Remove from heat, stir in the softened gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Add Flavor: Let the mixture cool slightly, then add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  5. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the raspberry mixture into the whipped cream until well combined.
  7. Mold the Mousse: Pour the mousse into heart-shaped molds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  8. Serve with Love: Once set, carefully remove from molds and serve chilled.
