  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, integrating each fully before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping, then sprinkle it over the batter.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the blondies to cool before cutting them into squares.
