A rich and creamy chocolate buttercream frosting perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter with an electric mixer until creamy and smooth.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing on low speed until combined.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla extract, then beat on high speed until fluffy and smooth.
  4. Check the consistency; adjust with more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
  5. Use the buttercream immediately or store it in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Re-whip before using.
